Coward is her name.
Cowering in her safe space, stowing away all the fears.
Locked up in a treasure box,
One that no one desires.
Pleas and screams all long forgotten.
Rescue abandoned.
Wordlessly taking it all in.
Silent screams stomping on her pulp of heart.
Nothing remained.
Hope? Nay. He’s long absconded.
What is to remain?
Oh holy…
What has remained?

Yes, but don’t we all face hardships? We’re all expected to bear them without any complaint. Because at the end of the day, one’s anguish is just drama for others. No one understands the other person. Maybe that’s how we’re built. Which is why these poems. They understand me.

Oh Snigdha, I look into your eyes so sweet, only to never look back, for you’re the ocean to my naked sky, as I close my eyes, only to imagine you smile, and oh how beautiful, do you seem to be, for you my love, are beautiful, just the way you’re.
This was it 🙂
